Welcome Back!

We have new policies and procedures in place to keep your kids as safe as possible while they are having fun in the gym.  So while things may look a little different, we promise that Tri-Star is still the same great place!

PRIOR TO CLASS:

  1. HEALTH SCREEN: Please review the daily health screen and make sure your child doesn’t have any symptoms concerning for COVID. If they do, please email the office at tristarforestpark@gmail.com and let us know your child can’t attend class that day
  2. GYM BAG: Prepare your child’s gym bag. It should contain:
    • Hand sanitizer
    • Water bottle
    • Any equipment they need for gymnastics class
    • NOTE: outside food of any kind is no longer allowed at Tri-Star

15 MIN PRIOR TO CLASS: In order to cut down traffic at the entrances, you will be given specific instructions about whether your child should enter using the front or the back door.

  1. ARRIVE EARLY: Please arrive 15min early to check in for class.
  2. WEAR A MASK: Please maintain 6ft of social distancing while waiting in line to be checked in. Anyone entering the gym (children and adults will need to wear a mask)
  3. ARRIVE DRESSED TO START: In order to minimize time and crowding at the cubbies, please make sure that your child arrives ready to start (hair pulled back, appropriately dressed in a leotard, jewelry removed)
  4. Check-in at the entry desk.  We will ask health screening questions and check the temperature of anyone entering Tri-Star (parents and students).
    • STUDENT CHECK-IN: If your child is fever and symptom free, they will be checked-in to their class
      • They can place their shoes and extra clothes in a cubby (or in their gym bag) and then go sit in our socially distanced waiting area
      • As class begins, your child’s coaches will escort the group to their spot on the floor to start warmups. Each child will be kept 6ft or more apart from their neighbors.
    • ADULT CHECK-IN: If you are fever and symptom free, you will be welcomed into our visitor area (space permitting)
      • We can only accommodate 1 adult caregiver per student. Siblings and additional visitors will not be permitted at this time.
      • If you are fever and symptom free, you are allowed to watch class from our bleacher area if there is enough space to maintain 6ft of social distancing.
      • Instead of watching from the bleachers, we would strongly encourage you to take advantage of our new secure online viewing portal (Spot TV) to watch your child from the comfort of your own home or car.

AS CLASS BEGINS:

  1. Your child will be asked to keep their mask on throughout their time in the gym, regardless of vaccination status
  2. Each class of 8 or fewer students will be kept consistent week to week to ensure that each child is only exposed to those same members of their “Tri-Star Household”
  3. Students will be asked to apply hand sanitizer between stations and our diligent staff will clean all equipment between classes

AT THE END OF CLASS:

  1. Students will exit through the same door they entered at the start of class.

We have prepared a little video so that you can see what to expect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtekvufVXkI&feature=youtu.be. For more information on all of our COVID19 policies, check out our website: https://tri-stargym.org/covid-19-health-safety-information/

FRONT VS. BACK DOOR ENTRY:

Recreational classes are now instructed to enter through the back door. Since the back door can be hard to find, we have included directions below:

Most importantly of all, Tri-Star is more than a gym, it is a family. We ask that you remember that we each have a responsibility to each other to follow the guidelines set out by our Public Health experts in order to keep our community safe. We believe that it is our commitment to each other that makes our Tri-Star Family so strong. The actions of each family affect all of the others. Wearing a mask, avoiding risky exposures, and practicing meticulous hand hygiene are gifts of love and kindness that we as a Tri-Star Community can give to each other every day. By choosing to remain a part of the Tri-Star Family, you are also agreeing to do your part to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.

We can’t wait to see you back in the gym!!
